¨Luc Lopez and his accordion band give a performance beyond compare as they re-create the traditional french spirit of bal-musette.¨

Since 1987, accordionist and singer Luc Lopez has often been heard on radio and seen on television and movie screens. Moreover, he has given numerous concerts in cabarets, festivals, private residences, the Montreal Casino, and has taken part in various dances and special events. Everywhere he goes, people are delighted by his music and dancers get carried off their feet by his tangos, waltzes and rock'n roll songs.

This is the reason why he has been hosting the Montreal French Union 14th of July Ball with such great success since 1985.

From frisky Montand to jolly Trenet, and from immortal Piaf to contemporary Nougaro, Lopez gives a new life to french classics, with a daringly modern and personal touch.

His charming and warm meridional voice explores a wide range of moods as the songs successively take a nostalgic, romantic or festive tone.

Lopez comes from southern France, where the sun always shines, and he will take you there. Whether he plays on his own or with his band, whether he gives a performance in a formal or informal setting, and whether he carries smooth or rhythmic songs, he is always delightfully disarming.
